Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society
The year 2014 marked the 50th anniversary of the first year of operation of the Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society following the amalgamation of the Germany & Colonies Stamp Club (established 1947) and the Stockton German Study Group (1960).

The G&CPS celebrated its inaugural year in 1964 with the first Germania Posta philatelic exhibition held in Stockton.

Message: The publication most readily available is a modern reprint (1980?) of the "Ortsverzeichnis I" published in May 1944 by the Reichspostzentralamt. It runs to almost 500 close-packed A4 pages listing, I believe, around 70,000 post offices and postal agencies. I see that ABE Books has a 1941 edition for sale. I know of a supplement for the Protectorate (there are also other sources for this area).
