Message: | Yes I agree with you. I have had another thought. At the Postal Congress of Vienna in 1891 Message/reply cards were accepted for international use. So If someone from North Borneo had sent a card with the reply half franked with your stamp to an addressee in Brotzen, that addressee could have used the card legitimately in Germany for his reply and the North Borneo stamp would correctly have been franked in Brotzen. It would be helpful in support of this theory if you could establish whether the North Borneo postal administration had message/reply postal cards in use around that time. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
