Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society
The year 2014 marked the 50th anniversary of the first year of operation of the Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society following the amalgamation of the Germany & Colonies Stamp Club (established 1947) and the Stockton German Study Group (1960).

The G&CPS celebrated its inaugural year in 1964 with the first Germania Posta philatelic exhibition held in Stockton.

Message: Hi Tony Dr Dub is generally ok, however there are two things to consider, firstly his stamp has been forged, and he also expertised outside of areas where he had knowledge http://www.filatelia.fi/experts/sitemap.html This site lists most of those who were or are engaged in expertising and their marks. It is an invaluable reference. With regard to forgeries forming part of a collection, you are quite right, and they are inexpendable as a source for checking regards Nigel
