Message: | The closest town I see is Schwerta, which is listed on page 555 of Guenther Hass, Deutsche Postorte 1490-1920 (Stuttgart: Peter Feuser Verlag, 2003). Schwerta in the 1920s was quite near the border with Czechoslovakia. If you want to locate it, find an old map of Germany and find Lauban and then locate for Schwerta almost directly south. Hass has a list of abbreviations on a plastic insert to his book, but none of them seems to deal with the town that interests you. Copying the stamp on a machine that allows you to increase the ink in the copy. That sometimes helps considerably in identifying a postmark or other postal marking.
