Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society
The year 2014 marked the 50th anniversary of the first year of operation of the Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society following the amalgamation of the Germany & Colonies Stamp Club (established 1947) and the Stockton German Study Group (1960).

The G&CPS celebrated its inaugural year in 1964 with the first Germania Posta philatelic exhibition held in Stockton.

Message: Hello Heinrich, Many thanks for your reply. I will contact my friend asap. to send you a scan of the stamp in question. Nigel posted it on a German site and the reply was that it is probably a Hannoverian pm. and the most likely place would be Altenau which seems to have opened in 1868 but no mention is made of any PM by Feuser; this confirms your statement that Feuser does not list every postmark. I will still try and send a scan direct to you. Many thanks Norman
