Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society
The year 2014 marked the 50th anniversary of the first year of operation of the Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society following the amalgamation of the Germany & Colonies Stamp Club (established 1947) and the Stockton German Study Group (1960).

The G&CPS celebrated its inaugural year in 1964 with the first Germania Posta philatelic exhibition held in Stockton.

Message: Hi Norman, Maybe I can shed a bit of light on your query. First of all, no not all marks are in Feuser, life just never works out like this, but it is still a very good benchmark. I suspect that you are looking for the place I grew up in, Altena a small town in Westphalia, which had two post offices in the time Brustschild stamps were in use, with a multitude of postmarks including a very rare F cancel. I am not a Heimatsammler really but I put things away, hence possibly have a strike of most things. Please send me a scan so I can confirm my speculation. Kind regards Heinrich
