Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society
The year 2014 marked the 50th anniversary of the first year of operation of the Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society following the amalgamation of the Germany & Colonies Stamp Club (established 1947) and the Stockton German Study Group (1960).

The G&CPS celebrated its inaugural year in 1964 with the first Germania Posta philatelic exhibition held in Stockton.

Message: Thanks for the response and yes that's what I'm thinking. However my album which has old Kabe pages specifically has a (currently and annoyingly!) empty space for a stamp released around July - Sept 1956 with a description of 'President Wilhelm Pieck Geanderte Zeichnung, 1 DM dunkeloliv' Did try uploading a pic of the album on my first post, but it hasn't worked for some reason. Wording is as above though.
