Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society
The year 2014 marked the 50th anniversary of the first year of operation of the Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society following the amalgamation of the Germany & Colonies Stamp Club (established 1947) and the Stockton German Study Group (1960).

The G&CPS celebrated its inaugural year in 1964 with the first Germania Posta philatelic exhibition held in Stockton.

Message: Hello Mary, The card image you showed is known but I believe best described as a German intitiative for a worldwide postal stationary card design which was never accepted. The only online information I have on this is all in German. Failing that you can use the BDph Forum (German speaking) but you can ask there also for help in English. The guy to help most there is a Wolfgang Maassen. There is also somewhere a handbook on German Postcards by a HP Frech that may assist you further. The exact title I do not know. Kind regards, Alec.
