Message: | I noticed that I failed to attach the enlargment of the Warmia stamp of East Prussia ... I am interested in the details of the costume ... what it is called? ... what is the bonnet material? ... what is the significance of the embroidery? ... what is the date and period of the costume? ... on what occasion would it be worn? ... weddings? ... celebrations? ... every day events? ... I think I have the background building nailed ... Alf Harper reports that it is the Castle Fortress of Marienburg that dates back to the 1200s ... I would need similar information for the other stamps in the series ... especially the 'lace' headress of Selesia (4 pf) ... and the background scenes of the Upper Baverian stamp (25 pf) ... thanks ...
