I recently purchased a pictorial cover from Fiji addressed to Germany, date end October 1938. It has been opened and resealed with a German resealing strip tied by oval Berlin handstamps.
When did Germany start censoring incoming mail prior to the start of WWII, and would there be any specific reasons why my cover was singled out, (perhaps because it came from a "non-white" country)?? Any advice welcomed.
Bryan Jones.
