Hi,
I have sent off my membership form (I collect Germany-all and Scandanavia-all and coming back to philately after a 15 year break), but whilst waiting for details of my membership to arrive I wondered whether anyone could provide assistance in the attached stamp. I am having difficulty in identifying the postmark. I have researched quite a bit and have found a postmark that could possibly be construed to be the same, but you would usually expect there to be an locality number in the centre, which this stamp does not appear to have, nor do the other 4 I have acquired. The reason I am trying to identify the postmark is becuase I suspect that the stamps I have are forgeries. My suspicion has had a 90% confirmation from another source, but I wondered if anyone from a specialised society, such as yours, may be able to help an amateur. I must stress that I am not looking to hold anyone to any comments/information that they may be good enough to impart, but just trying to gather as much information as possible before coming to a conclusion myself.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
