Someone to help please! I attach a 1929 express airmail cover franked with a block of 4 of 50pf Bach Mi396 from Berlin to London. I am not familiar with German postal rates, I only bought this item because of the Bach stamp (and because I had not seen another block of 4 on cover)! Now, a friend from Denmark says that the rate of 2 DM is:
60-80gr letter
Postage for the first 20 gr. 25pf.
Postage for the rest is 3 x 15pf. 45pf.
Expres fee 50pf.
Air Mail fee 4 x 20pf. 80pf.
Total 200pf.
A fellow Greek collector says that this might not be the case. Can anyone confirm the rate?
