Hello John
The Schantl-Plattenfehler catalogues were very clear and comprehensive in their illustrations but I am not sure they are still published. We used to be able to supply them but can no longer do so unfortunately. Second-hand copies seem to be fairly readily available over the internet.
We can supply any of the Michel range of catalogues to members at the full Society discount. The Michel Specialised in English part two does not cover West Berlin but does cover all the stamps of the postwar Allied occupation zones with many of the plate flaws, but by no means all, illustrated.
The German language Michel Spezial vol. 2 covers all the stamps from May 1945 (including the Allied occupation ones mentioned above) but illustrations of the flaws on West Berlin stamps are sparse.
In 2017 Michel published a specialised 'Handbuch Plattenfehler Bund/Berlin' – see link to their website https://www.briefmarken.de/michelshop/de/plattenfehler-bund-berlin – but I haven't actually seen a copy. It does look however as though it might fulfil your needs and is of fairly modest cost once the Society's discount has been deducted. If you'd like me to obtain a copy for you please contact me direct.
Kind regards
Giles |
