The year 2014 marked the 50th anniversary of the first year of operation of the Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society following the amalgamation of the Germany & Colonies Stamp Club (established 1947) and the Stockton German Study Group (1960).
The G&CPS celebrated its inaugural year in 1964 with the first Germania Posta philatelic exhibition held in Stockton.

I am a new member making my first post so I will apologise in advance if I have missed a point of order or etiquette.
I am interested in hearing opinions on the best catalogue to use to form a post-war Berlin errors and flaws collection? I see there are at least three and so I want to make the right choice. Of greatest importance to me is clear illustrations showing the flaws/errors. I am perfectly happy with a german language catalogue as it will only help me continue to learn German.
