The year 2014 marked the 50th anniversary of the first year of operation of the Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society following the amalgamation of the Germany & Colonies Stamp Club (established 1947) and the Stockton German Study Group (1960).
The G&CPS celebrated its inaugural year in 1964 with the first Germania Posta philatelic exhibition held in Stockton.
I have a pamphlet entitled 'Heft 19 Deutsche Zwangszuschlags-Marken 1948-1954'. It details a considerable amount of information relating to the Notopfer Steuermarke 'Bleu Flea' Tax stamp. My problem is that it is in German. Sadly my reading of that language isnt any where near as good as i can speak it. Just wondering if there are any bright ideas out there as to how i could get this thing translated. Its 29 pages.
