Message: | There is no simple answer to your question as there is wide range of different sizes of items that need to be mounted in the Germany and colonies collecting area. Looking through my stock of stamp mounts, I find I have the following sizes that I routinely use: 26 x 210 mm 30 x 210 mm * 37 x 210 mm 44 x 210 mm 44 x 210 mm 76 x 210 mm 80 x 265 mm 105 x 265 mm 120 x 265 mm 150 x 265 mm The one I use most is marked with an asterisk. I cut the width to the required size with a Stanley knife and metal ruler. Always save all but the smallest off-cuts as they can be used in the future (mounts are expensive and I prefer to spend my money on stamps). I use the Hawid brand as they can be trimmed both horizontally and vertically. The Showgard brand have a split back and therefore can only be trimmed vertically. I understand that Hawid are stopping production but stock still seems to be readily available. I will move on to Davo mounts when Hawid become unavailable. | ||||||||||||||||
