Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society
The year 2014 marked the 50th anniversary of the first year of operation of the Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society following the amalgamation of the Germany & Colonies Stamp Club (established 1947) and the Stockton German Study Group (1960).

The G&CPS celebrated its inaugural year in 1964 with the first Germania Posta philatelic exhibition held in Stockton.

Message: The 24/5 April 1916 raids on the east coast of Britain by Zeppelins and a German battle cruiser squadron are of course well documented, so I presume you are not specifically looking for information on them. I imagine the 'stamps' were issued for propaganda and war fund raising purposes of some sort. It would be helpful to know what the wording on the red seal is, as it is difficult to see from the scan.
