Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society
The year 2014 marked the 50th anniversary of the first year of operation of the Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society following the amalgamation of the Germany & Colonies Stamp Club (established 1947) and the Stockton German Study Group (1960).

The G&CPS celebrated its inaugural year in 1964 with the first Germania Posta philatelic exhibition held in Stockton.

Message: Dear John As Chairman and publications manager of the G&CPS I am probably best placed to answer your question on the valuation of back issues of "Germania" from No. 1 to the year 1992 (vol. 28) Where available the Society sells back issues to members at the following prices (which include postage within the UK: From Vols 1 to 14 incl @ £1.00 per issue From Vols 15 to 29 incl @ £1.25 per issue From Vols. 30 onwards @ £2.00 per issue. A complete run of Vols 1 to 14 comprises 90 issues - therefore sale price = £90 A complete run of Vols 15 to 28 (1992) comprises 79 issues - therefore sale price = £98.75 Therefore total value = £188.75 (including postage within UK which would account for about £70 of that total) I hope that helps Giles
