Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society
The year 2014 marked the 50th anniversary of the first year of operation of the Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society following the amalgamation of the Germany & Colonies Stamp Club (established 1947) and the Stockton German Study Group (1960).

The G&CPS celebrated its inaugural year in 1964 with the first Germania Posta philatelic exhibition held in Stockton.

Message: I am uncertain whether this is a hypothetical question or the original inquirer has such an item. The only possibilities that occur to me would be use of an International Red Cross communication form or the Cook system for handling such mail. I do not know of any German servicepersons' use of these services, although I had a couple of Red Cross forms that were used by Italian military personnel in German service. Ben Beede
