Message: | Sorry for the very belated reply, but I am a new member of the G&C PS. This stamp (there were no others) rated a half page discussion (p. 221) in the bilingual (German/English) Estonia Philately & Postal History Handbook Catalog, published in 1986. The stamps were used for a courier service between Petrograd and Tallinn, Estonia, in 1917-1918. Apparently, the issue date was "late December 1917." The handbook give the stamp a price of US$ 50.00.
