Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society
The year 2014 marked the 50th anniversary of the first year of operation of the Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society following the amalgamation of the Germany & Colonies Stamp Club (established 1947) and the Stockton German Study Group (1960).

The G&CPS celebrated its inaugural year in 1964 with the first Germania Posta philatelic exhibition held in Stockton.

Message: Dear Mr. Kellogg, I have a fairly extensive library of Third Reich postal and philatelic books. To my knowledge, there is no catalog of "poster stamps." There is a catalog (which I do not have a citation for because it seems to me to be non-philatelic) of window stickers and other items for Winterhilfe. Various poster stamps and labels somewhat resembling stamps exist in significant numbers for the Third Reich, of course. Some Nazi items predate 1933. Cataloging them might be an interesting project. Military-related labels are in the Michel Feldpost Katalog 1937-1945. B.R. Beede
