Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society
The year 2014 marked the 50th anniversary of the first year of operation of the Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society following the amalgamation of the Germany & Colonies Stamp Club (established 1947) and the Stockton German Study Group (1960).

The G&CPS celebrated its inaugural year in 1964 with the first Germania Posta philatelic exhibition held in Stockton.

Message: Yours is a sticky problem at the moment, because it has been discovered that in some of the hingeless one country albums some of the constituents within the plastic can discolour the stamps. Hawid mounts are considered safe, as is plastic that has been PAT verified, (google SECOL). Whilst time consuming it may be better to make up the album pages yourself, blank pages can be obtained, and use Hawid mounts. Lighthouse are a popular brand though due to the credit crunch, not as cheap as they were a short while back, and do have a selection of blank page styles to select from. kind regards Nigel
