I have an envelop with a kidney cancellation stamp from around 1831 from Bromberg to Neustadt Eberswalde. The sender was the government of the Bromberg district, sent on 12/02 the receiver the state police in Eberswalde. The receiving stamp is a circle containing the letter N, number 1 and the date 15/02. Which private postal service handled al mail on this route, was it stage coach or horseback, or did official mail travel using the government's own postal service? Thank you for your help.
