The year 2014 marked the 50th anniversary of the first year of operation of the Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society following the amalgamation of the Germany & Colonies Stamp Club (established 1947) and the Stockton German Study Group (1960).
The G&CPS celebrated its inaugural year in 1964 with the first Germania Posta philatelic exhibition held in Stockton.
I'm not a member yet ( waiting for the New Year) but I have a question if that's okay. I have collected WW1 P.S for a while and during the Covid lockdown thought to expand my interest to cover German P.S.
The Germania issue looked inoffensive so I started there!!! Now my problem is I need a catalogue to write up my budding collection of postcards and I'm not sure which of the Michel catalogues covers postal stationery; living in rural France there is not much opportunity to browse.
Can anyone advise which catalogue would be best suited.
