The year 2014 marked the 50th anniversary of the first year of operation of the Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society following the amalgamation of the Germany & Colonies Stamp Club (established 1947) and the Stockton German Study Group (1960).
The G&CPS celebrated its inaugural year in 1964 with the first Germania Posta philatelic exhibition held in Stockton.
I have the above stamp 6cmx7cm with the map of the Deutsches reich with towns and inscriptions Ein Reich at the top and Ein Volk and Ein Fuhrer on the sides and the date of 10 april 1938 on the bottom.i was just looking at my stampcollection from my childhood and this stamp stood out as maybe something of interest especially as it does not have a value on it.Can anyone advise to its origin and reason for printing.
