Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society
The year 2014 marked the 50th anniversary of the first year of operation of the Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society following the amalgamation of the Germany & Colonies Stamp Club (established 1947) and the Stockton German Study Group (1960).

The G&CPS celebrated its inaugural year in 1964 with the first Germania Posta philatelic exhibition held in Stockton.

Message: About the question of Dues requirements for members of the Nazi Party, this is an update of the 2005 post. German, Nazi Dues (NSDAP) stamps show a huge range of values from all periods issued. All formats were used across the ten-year period, 1934-1944, with year-date overprints to show that year's dues payments. The extreme high values have 1943 and 1944 year dates and paid one-half or a full year. While the large-format stamps of 1943 and 1944 usually were overprinted with "A.O. Seefahrt," they all exist without the overprint. Five years after the original posts, the question still has importance to the myriad collectors of these revenues. Posting any information about the dues assessment rules would be of value. Also, any information about the use of the "A.O. Seefahrt" overprint would be interesting. I have just listed an extensive selection NSDAP dues stamps at Allstamp.net
