Good evening.
I am unfortunately not a philatelist, however I've been given four early german stamps to dispose of by a friend. The best information I can garner from the web is that they are 1871 fiscal stamps in blue with grey values of 4 1/2, 6, 15 and 30. All are (to my untrained eye) in fabulous condition.
If anyone is interested in aquiring these (all are hand cancelled, the 6 also having a Danzig stamped cancellation) or indeed just pointing me in the right direction then I'd be hugely grateful. I can provide high resolution photographs if this would help.
I have no idea if they even have any significant value but my friend is not well off and I'd like to help him out if I can.
Any and all assistance much appreciated. I'm not trying to use your group as a free valuation tool, I just don't know where to start.
