Vincent Sheean, a U.S. correspondent and author, once mentioned the Czech mobilization in 1938 and stated Czech communications with the outside world were stopped for a time. According to Sheean, "Mail ceased altogether for about ten days." [Sheean, Not Peace But a Sword (1939), p. 283] I checked my volume of German postal regulations for 1938 but found no reference to this matter. Is more information available?
