Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society
The year 2014 marked the 50th anniversary of the first year of operation of the Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society following the amalgamation of the Germany & Colonies Stamp Club (established 1947) and the Stockton German Study Group (1960).

The G&CPS celebrated its inaugural year in 1964 with the first Germania Posta philatelic exhibition held in Stockton.

Message: There were special cards designed by Hesshaimer for Vienna, which I'm pretty sure were in conjunction with an exhibition. Similarly, Dortmund issued a special card, again almost certainly in conjunction with an exhibition. I have a "Werbeschau, TdB" card from Leoben. And there's a set of 10 TdB cards issued in conjunction with a display in the Museum for Hamburg's History that ran from 9 to 25 Jan 1942.
