Hello John, on what one might call 'ordinary' stamps my 2012/13 Briefe catalogue gives as a minimum prices for single, multiple and mixed frankings. But on others the information is more detailed. So for example on Ampost stamps, which I know you collect, the prices per stamp (differing by paper type) are given for single, multiple or mixed frankings where applicable on printed matter, distant letters or cards, registered and foreign letters, postal money order letters, packets, express, newspaper wrappers, COD and other categories. There is also a column showing prices according to two main periods of use (eg period 1: from date of issue to 28.2.1946 and period 2 from 1.3.1946 to 31.10.1946 (or in the British Zone to 7.11.1946)). Prices for The 'buildings' series are also broken down into many different postal uses (on MiNr 80 for example there are over 100 different prices !).
There is a section dealing with different uses during the currency reform period. I don't immediately see in my 2012/13 single-volume edition information on emergency cancels or R-Zettels but I note that the catalogue is now split into two volumes so the latest editions may be be more detailed. Vol. 1 (2020/21) covers 1849-1945 and vol. 2 (2021/22) from 1945; this latter vol. is not due to be published until November. Each vol costs about £80 + postage and we can supply members at 20% discount off that.Best wishes Giles |
