Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society
The year 2014 marked the 50th anniversary of the first year of operation of the Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society following the amalgamation of the Germany & Colonies Stamp Club (established 1947) and the Stockton German Study Group (1960).

The G&CPS celebrated its inaugural year in 1964 with the first Germania Posta philatelic exhibition held in Stockton.

Message: Dear John, I have used a Lindner 'mint sheet album' for years which keeps full sheets in perfect condition. The albums come in three sizes (for sheets up to 245x315mm or 240x360mm or 290x315mm) and the Society can supply any of them at the full discount whereas we cannot on the Lighthouse except on very large orders.I don't collect booklets and looking through the Lindner catalogue there does not seem to be a specific album for them, however the versatile black-or white- backed Omnia pages or 'crystal clear pocket pages' provide formats that can be used for booklets. The Omnia system also includes a page for full sheets up to 262x305mm. You should be able to find all these on the Prinz website, but if not let me know direct and I can e-mail you scans of the relevant pages from the Lindner catalogue. Giles
