Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society
The year 2014 marked the 50th anniversary of the first year of operation of the Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society following the amalgamation of the Germany & Colonies Stamp Club (established 1947) and the Stockton German Study Group (1960).

The G&CPS celebrated its inaugural year in 1964 with the first Germania Posta philatelic exhibition held in Stockton.

Message: Hello Phil, It says Rohrpost, not Ruhrpost. It means pneumatic mail in german. There was a Rohrpost network in Prague. The broken label at the top left corner, if complete, would say "Mit Rohrpost / Potrubní poštou" (check the attached image). It seems it was sent by a soldier in Prague II district, to another soldier in a different district in Prague (I can't figure out what says after Prag). It seems there was anoter label below the previous one, maybe of a registered letter?. The image with the 8 stamps is the back of the cover?, it looks so different. The rate of 480 shown there maybe represents this: 300 (registered) + 100 (rohrpost) + 80 (letter up to 20 grams). I'm just using what Michel shows about rates. But maybe someone that knows more about Bohemia and Moravia rates can confirm or correct me. Hope it helps! Fernando
