Message: | These are printing dates, introduced in 1882, to identify the date of the particular printing. Later a letter (a-m) was added after the numbers to indicate the supply of the card used for the printing. Other 'data' relating to printings involve missing dots from the address lines and watermarks. A full account of this can be found in Germania Vol 51 No.2 (May 2015).
