Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society
The year 2014 marked the 50th anniversary of the first year of operation of the Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society following the amalgamation of the Germany & Colonies Stamp Club (established 1947) and the Stockton German Study Group (1960).

The G&CPS celebrated its inaugural year in 1964 with the first Germania Posta philatelic exhibition held in Stockton.

Message: Bill Yes they were very much like cigarette card. There are lots of these photos around but I would think that it would be difficult to collect them all to make a complete run unless of course you buy a complete book with them stuck in. The books have come down in price over the years and you should be able to buy one with black and white photos for about £50 with the books with coloured photos for £75. Tony
