Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society
The year 2014 marked the 50th anniversary of the first year of operation of the Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society following the amalgamation of the Germany & Colonies Stamp Club (established 1947) and the Stockton German Study Group (1960).

The G&CPS celebrated its inaugural year in 1964 with the first Germania Posta philatelic exhibition held in Stockton.

Message: Dear Sean A number of G&CPS members who are also members of the ZSG have paid for but not received copies of the ZPJ over the last year or so without explanation despite enquiries made of the editor. The last copy mailed out very late was that for Summer 2013. As Chairman of the G&CPS (and a ZSG member myself) I have e-mailed Dieter Leder twice advising that in the absence of clarification we may have to remove references to the ZSG from the Society's journal and website. No reply has been forthcoming thus the references have now been removed on my instructions in the interests of members. Kind regards Giles
