Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society
The year 2014 marked the 50th anniversary of the first year of operation of the Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society following the amalgamation of the Germany & Colonies Stamp Club (established 1947) and the Stockton German Study Group (1960).

The G&CPS celebrated its inaugural year in 1964 with the first Germania Posta philatelic exhibition held in Stockton.

Message: Dear Alan, there are two very good volumes published by the Arge Deutsche Feldpost. They were reviewed in Germania Vol.45 No. 2 (May 2009)and both can be borrowed from the Society's library - see p. 41 of the library list on this website - books refs 1957 & 1958. I recently returned these to the library myself and can recommend them. I think you may find some information also regarding you other enquiry on censorship in WW1. Suggest you contact our librarian (and editor) Rex Dixon who does not live far from you. Cheers Giles.
