Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society
The year 2014 marked the 50th anniversary of the first year of operation of the Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society following the amalgamation of the Germany & Colonies Stamp Club (established 1947) and the Stockton German Study Group (1960).

The G&CPS celebrated its inaugural year in 1964 with the first Germania Posta philatelic exhibition held in Stockton.

Message: Alec - Thanks for the response. I don't know Ian Nutley personally but I'm aware of him of course. Yes, I am on the packet circuit so now recognize the name. Nothing to offer I'm afraid and am dubious about staying on the circuit. The quality of material has dropped alarmingly but it can only be as good as what's put in by members. Luckily, I can pass on the packet by hand now otherwise the postage would often be more than I spent. However, keep up the good work. All the best Keith
