Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society
The year 2014 marked the 50th anniversary of the first year of operation of the Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society following the amalgamation of the Germany & Colonies Stamp Club (established 1947) and the Stockton German Study Group (1960).

The G&CPS celebrated its inaugural year in 1964 with the first Germania Posta philatelic exhibition held in Stockton.

Message: The relatively lack of response seems to be a problem in all the philatelic publications and groups I know of. Some people may be uncertain of the answer that occurs to them, especially when a foreign language is concerned. In many cases, people have few sources of information. I happen to have a large library with a good many Reichspost publications, especially for the years 1924 to 1945. Given the fact that before my retirement, I was in education and was used to anwswering questions. Ben Beede
