Message: | I can at least narrow the dates for you. According to Johannes Nawrocki, Die ersten Barfreimachungen (Leipzig: Verlag Fritz Seifert, 1937?), p. 20, the cash paid marking with 75 Rpf. was used between October 1, 1918, and the end of August 1922. Such cash paid markings were introduced on January 1, 1894, but for some time they bore only the word "Franco" or the phrase "Gebuehr bezahlt," with the latter abbreviated in some cases, in lieu of a denomination.
