Message: | Philip - more interesting 'pickings from the pound box' ! They intrigue me. I can only read the postmark date clearly on one of them, but I think it must be something to do with the big hike in postage rates that came in on 6.5.1920 to 30Pf for either a local or long-distance postcard. I can almost imagine a local action group in Kirchheim u. Teck deciding to challenge the new rates, and an exasperated postmaster taking retaliatory action ! But then my imagination runs away with me... Do let me know if you find out the answer ! Cheers, Giles. | ||||||||||||||||
