Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society
The year 2014 marked the 50th anniversary of the first year of operation of the Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society following the amalgamation of the Germany & Colonies Stamp Club (established 1947) and the Stockton German Study Group (1960).

The G&CPS celebrated its inaugural year in 1964 with the first Germania Posta philatelic exhibition held in Stockton.

Message: I assume you are looking for World War II era Feldpost numbers. There are a number of publications that bear on the subject. The German Red Cross issued two volumes of numbers about 1960, and the Third Reich Study Group in the U.S. issued a huge compilation of numbers in the 1980s. The definitive (although not absolutely complete) treatment was issued by Biblio Verlag some years ago. I think Philabooks has copies. There are a number of special studies, that is, lists of numbers for German military organizations in various operational areas, such as Greece. Let me know if you need more information. Ben Beede
