Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society
The year 2014 marked the 50th anniversary of the first year of operation of the Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society following the amalgamation of the Germany & Colonies Stamp Club (established 1947) and the Stockton German Study Group (1960).

The G&CPS celebrated its inaugural year in 1964 with the first Germania Posta philatelic exhibition held in Stockton.

Message: dear bob, my michel cat. (2003/4) lists issues as described by you on page 361 under local issues. they have the crossed hammers but are inscribed grossraschen so they may not be the same ones, also on pp 368/9 there are three different local issues for spremberg from jan & feb 1946.i hope this helps best of luck , joe wynn
