They published in their Schriftenreihe Heft 73 by K-H Riemer entitled: 'Die Postzensur der Alliierten...' and it is still available at a bargain 15 Euros (according to the website Shop). Censorship started roughly at the same time as the re-opening of civil mails in mid-1945. Not all inland mail was censored, most early foreign mail (start 1.4.46) was.
