The year 2014 marked the 50th anniversary of the first year of operation of the Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society following the amalgamation of the Germany & Colonies Stamp Club (established 1947) and the Stockton German Study Group (1960).
The G&CPS celebrated its inaugural year in 1964 with the first Germania Posta philatelic exhibition held in Stockton.
Any experts on Cameroun? I was about to put this used example of the 4d British Occupation Mi7 into the next GCPS auction when I noticed that the 4 was broken on the left, matching the description in Michel as Mi 7II. However, as it's not illustrated and this is not my area I have no idea so any help would be most welcome. Suggestions for the best people to authenticate it would also be welcome if it is thought to be the variety.
