Heinrich Treitel
Born 1875
1894 He spent 6 months at the University of Zurich as a Philosophy student.
He studied Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Berlin and graduated in 1901 as Dipl.Ing.
He won a silver medal and a travel grant of 1500 marks.
Heinrich was an early collector of Postmarks in Germany.
He was responsible for the Postmark News in the magazine “ Deutsch Sammler Zeitung and he subscribed to Fritz Paeplow who ran a Postmark and novelty service in the association.
In the 1920’s Heinrich published in the periodical “ Die Naturwissenschaften an organ of  “ Der Gesellschaft Deutscher Naturforscher und Ärzte.
He became a director of the AEG Turbine factory in Berlin – Moabit.
His registered address from 1933 was as follows,

He was Jewish, and the rest as they say is History.
