I have been using an inexpensive translation program called "Globalink" for many years - I understand it is no longer available. This was designed for Windows 95 but works on XP without trouble. The results it gives are at times pretty hilarious but it does at least give a 'first cut' from which, with patient use of a German dictionary, a basic understanding of German syntax, and a fairly generous helping of imagination, one can build up a passable English translation.
My question is: do any of you use more modern translation software which gives good results on philatelic/history related articles ?
I'd be interested to see comments on this subject through the message board.
Thanks
